When public speaking, what is it important to remember to do?
If a publisher was listening to your pitch what would they want to know about your project?
- To speak loudly
- To speak clearly
- To Speak formally
- To stay on task
- To speak at a speed that is easily understood
- Eye contact
- State facts and statistics
- Use key words and terms
- To plan in advance

- What your project is about
- Who your project is aimed at
- How and why you think your project is going to be successful
- What's unique about your magazine
- The financial figures, e.g. budget, profit
- The research you have used and what primary research you used
- Why you're doing it
